Happy Skin Cream — why I love it and how to use it

There are certain products in a skincare routine that feel like a quiet exhale for the skin—and for me, this is one of them.

Happy Skin Cream is one of those formulas I find myself reaching for again and again, both in the treatment room and at home. It’s simple, deeply nourishing, and incredibly supportive for a wide range of skin types, especially when the skin is feeling dry, depleted, or just a little out of balance.

Why I love it

What I love most about this cream is how it focuses on supporting the skin barrier.

So many skin concerns I see - sensitivity, breakouts, redness, dehydration - can often be traced back to a compromised barrier. When the skin barrier is supported, everything functions better. The skin is calmer, more resilient, and better able to retain hydration.

Happy Skin Cream does exactly that. It’s rich without feeling heavy, and it melts into the skin in a way that feels both comforting and breathable.

It’s also unscented, which I really appreciate. This makes it a beautiful option for sensitive skin, reactive skin, and anyone who prefers to keep their routine simple and low-irritation.

This is the kind of cream that doesn’t try to do too much—it just does the right things, really well.

Who it’s for
I reach for this cream when skin is:
• Dry or dehydrated
• Sensitive or easily reactive
• Compromised or over-exfoliated
• Experiencing seasonal changes (especially in colder months)
• In need of simple, consistent nourishment

It’s also a lovely everyday moisturizer for anyone wanting to support long-term skin health without overcomplicating their routine.

How to use it
- After cleansing, leave your skin slightly damp.
- Apply a small amount of your cream to your palm and add 4-6 drops of your Custom Face Serum directly into it
- Massage together in your palm and apply to your damp face and neck following my massage.

Fall / Winter & Spring Directions
- Use the cream as is

Summer Directions
- Add a pea size amount (or less) of cream to your palm. Put your fingers under the tap and get them wet, dribble a few drops into the cream and mix in your palm. You are watering down the cream and making it thinner. I promise this step is not difficult or time consuming, it’s allowing you to customize the cream to the seasons. * Why I don’t sell a thinner cream? Thinner creams have more water in their formulas and I love customizing products to the needs of the seasons and my location. This also means I can use 1 cream all year round :)

applying any serums, take a small amount and gently press it into the skin. Pressing, rather than rubbing, helps the product absorb while also encouraging a more mindful connection with your skin.

You can use it morning and night, depending on what your skin needs.

In the morning, it creates a soft, hydrated base for sunscreen and makeup.

At night, it becomes a restorative layer—helping to lock in hydration and support the skin as it repairs itself.

If your skin is feeling especially dry, you can apply a slightly thicker layer in the evening for a more nourishing, almost mask-like effect.

A simple, supportive staple

In a world of complicated routines and constant newness, I always come back to products like this.

Happy Skin Cream is steady, reliable, and deeply supportive—the kind of product that helps your skin feel like itself again.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need.
