The prettiest Easter tradition (that isn’t egg decorating)
This Easter, my friend Gillian (owner of Flora Grey) invited us over to decorate salt cookies instead of eggs — and it was such a beautiful experience.
I’m hoping to carry this tradition into the seasons ahead, using it as a simple way to slow down, create, and celebrate different holidays with my family.
It’s easy, calming, and so lovely to display afterward.
We used this recipe for the cookies, and you can decorate them with any paints or markers you have on hand.
I found a few branches of dogwood for our tree and filled a vase with stones to anchor them — simple, natural, and just enough.
I wanted to share this easy, creative ritual with you. If you try it, I’d love to hear 🤍
xx
